Space station's over the moon
With the Space Shuttle crew now happily on board the International Space Station (even though they can't use the toilet), a German amateur astronomer aimed his telescope towards the hurtling hunk of metal.
And it's lucky for us he did, because he managed to capture this amazing shot of the ISS crossing the face of the Moon (what astronomers call a transit).
Bernhard Christ had to be really quick on the draw because the transit lasted just a mere 0.4 seconds.
The picture is a composite of several images taken in a row.
How many stations can you spot? Four? Nope. There's five of them - you just have to look really, really close. Click on the image for a bigger version.
