Playing pong with your mind

By Daniel Smith on Nov 20, 09 10:08 AM

Fancy a game of pong? You won't need your Wii remote.

Wired has put up its ten best cyborg videos, but it was this one I found rather creepy.

It's two guys playing the video game classic using their own brain waves to control the 'paddle'.

But it's not just us who have the power to control things with our minds. Here's the first step to what we really want - robot monkeys!

Daniel Smith - a long time ago, in a galaxy far away just north of Watford, Daniel fancied himself as a scientist but turned out to be the worst scientist since that bloke who mapped out all those canals on Mars that turned out to be scratches on his telescope's lens. Luckily, he is now not working on the Large Hadron Collider inadvertently creating a black hole that would swallow the world but is safely behind a desk writing this blog, bringing you the fantastical underbelly of nature... weird science.
