I'm trying to take advantage of social networking to spread the word of the Weird Science blog.

Now I'm not very good at networking and I'm not at all social, so I've been busy over the past week or so trying to get my head round all this internet malarky.

Well, first off you can join the Weird Science blog Facebook group here. It'll be a place where maybe you can post any weird science you've spotted or offer any ideas (much needed, I can tell you).

You can also follow the blog on Twitter by searching for WeirdSciBlog.

As I've mentioned, I'm still trying to drag myself into the 21st Century and I'm sure there's plenty more I can do. Any ideas, again let me know by posting here or on Facebook.

Weird Science Factoid: The mortality rate if bitten by a Black Mamba snake is over 95%. So best stay away from all snakes just in case.

Daniel Smith - a long time ago, in a galaxy far away just north of Watford, Daniel fancied himself as a scientist but turned out to be the worst scientist since that bloke who mapped out all those canals on Mars that turned out to be scratches on his telescope's lens. Luckily, he is now not working on the Large Hadron Collider inadvertently creating a black hole that would swallow the world but is safely behind a desk writing this blog, bringing you the fantastical underbelly of nature... weird science.
