X Factor pineapple was stolen in Brum shocker

Shocking news just in....the infamous X Factor pineapple was STOLEN....from JLS no less...in Birmingham!

It appears the Brum Christmas lights turn-on, which ended in near tragedy when 60 people where injured in the crush, was disastrous all round.

Also on the bill was Calvin Harris, who took it upon himself to steal a pineapple that had been provided backstage for the band JLS.

Then he took it with him to the X Factor studio and decided to run on stage with the said piece of fruit on his head during Jedward's performance.

I know the crowd-crushing horror is no laughing matter and I feel sorry for everyone caught up in it, but I can't help applauding Calvin for his audacity. The X Factor takes itself far too seriously and his little interruption was quite amusing. It livened up the twins' act, anyway. More fruit surprises next week, please!
