X-Factor contestants made Queen singer Freddie Mercury spin in his grave

Roz Laws the Sunday Mercury's Entertainment Editor is a huge fan of X-Factor - so much so she was even on the Xtra Factor show on TV at the weekend.
I'm not a fan.
I have avoided this series like the plague, I have ignored the Jedward hysteria and kept well away.
Until the weekend when I had to work from home rather than my usual office surroundings on a Saturday.
I had to endure my kids watching this tripe and witnessed some of the most appalling bastardizations of Queen songs I have ever heard.
I think I once heard The Smurfs do better versions of Queen songs.
These are without a doubt the worst crop of talent show singers I have ever seen.
I was glad when it was all over.
And then it re-appeared on Sunday.
And once again Freddie Mercury was spinning in his grave - this time his former band mates joined in with the X-Factor contestants to present us with the worst ever rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody ever.
And there have been some bad ones.
There can't be many weeks left of this rot can there?
