Apologies for not bringing you this title in the Christmas round-up, but there have been so many games lately we have literally been drowning in a sea of Japanese RPG's and Wii party games!

When it comes to family party games, the Scene It! franchise is just the job for when you have friends over or fancy some good family fun.

Gadget review: Z Buds

THESE little earbuds are absolutely brilliant.

There is a range of colours and the magic of the Z.bud is the cord, not your usual tangle-tastic rubber; this is proper cord and as such behaves itself and doesn't drive you insane.

A lot of thought has been put into making this appeal to iPod/iPhone users in terms of the security of the jack socket. In-line volume control is useful and the cord can be easily adjusted through sliders. It comes with multiple ear bud adapters for all ear sizes.

The sound is actually very rich with and not tinny in the slightest and unlike some headphones they do actually cancel out all other noise when you have them in, even without the sound on - ear-plug style.

dell-mini-10-official-1.jpg

The world of computers have come a long, long way in recent years and when you see products like the 10" Dell Mini 10 you realise just how far.

I am new to the world of notebooks/net books/minis etc so this is a very exciting experience for me.

I expected the keys to be so small that my fat fingers would hit the wrong keys completely and make me type like an idiot, but actually it has a keyboard 92% the size of a traditional laptop keyboard and the keys are fantastic - very responsive and comfortable to use.

The most obvious thing to note about the Mini 10 before even going underneath the bonnet is the style aspect, it is literally oozing class and sophistication and I challenge anyone not want one.

THE folks at www.firebox.com have come up trumps again with this collection of retro classic Nintendo favourites.

Shaped like a diddy Game Boy and small enough to fit on your key ring this is a really funky little accessory.

They look great and they come loaded with a classic and addictive Nintendo classic, graphically they are about as naïve and rudimentary as they could be.

Gadget Review:Stylophone

By Steve Wollaston on Jul 14, 09 01:52 PM

GET your lava lamp out, decorate the walls with lunatic wallpaper, stick on your copy of The Sweeney and make sweet music with your Stylophone.

Everyone's favourite electronic organ is back with a vengeance to unleash its retro wackiness and unique sounds on a new generation.

This chap does a decent demo of the game -

Here's my review!

There I was on the tee, feet shoulder width apart, eyes on the ball, a quick glance for the flag... and swing!

The ball sails down the fairway, through the air gracefully and - straight into a tree.

Oh well, let's try again!

Here at Power Up we have friends in high places - and in Los Angeles our very own insider LA Dolly is at E3 to give us the lowdown.

Here's what she had to say;

"Hi Power Uppers - Microsoft wheeled Sir Paul, Ringo and Yoko, Spielberg and Hideo Kojima (Oh yes Metal Gear on 360 at last) out onto stage for their press conference.

Also the new thing called NATAL - you will have heard a lot about this already - I know Mr Wollaston has just blogged about it!

Pele and James Cameron were at the Ubisoft press conference, with James Cameron talking rather in depth about Avatar.

There is a new camera peripheral for the Wii. Jay Z and Eminem played at Activisions DJ hero party. Notable spots include Kelly Osbourne, one of the Olsen twins plus some of the cast from Mad Men, Leo DiCaprio and Matthew McConnaghey.

Sony and Nintendo press conference today. Rumour has it that not only will Rogue Warrior Dick Marcinko be at the first day of the show but he might have a "friend" in tow... Over and out - LA dolly

In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... He was recently nominated for Regional Games Journalist Of The Year at the Games Media Awards which he believes was a fluke. His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2.
