Review: Sonic Generations (360)

By Steve Wollaston on Nov 22, 11 08:36 PM

Twenty years the little blue hedgehog has been hurtling through those rings at breakneck speeds.

20 years!

The world has changed so much but Sonic has stayed the same and evolved with the gaming industry and its many advancements.

The gameplay remains as solid and dependable as ever and still the perfect platform game in many ways.

This package is a homage to the past generations of the game with classic gameplay and settings revisited, re-worked and ready to be loved all over again.

This is the ultimate Sonic package and the perfect tribute to 20 years of genius.

Score 4/5

Steve Wollaston - Sunday Mercury games reviewer Steve has been writing about video games for donkey's years. In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... He has been nominated three times for Regional Games Journalist Of The Year at the Games Media Awards, but never wins. His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
