Transport yourself into your very own Disneyland with this truly innovative and exciting adventure from starring Mickey Mouse.

As you would expect from Disney the characters in this are excellent but also the storline is befitting of the brand.

You star as Mickey Mouse who finds himself in Wasteland - a dark and mysterious place where all of Disney's forgotten creations live - you will find characters that were rejected and theme park attractions that were retired, all in a bizarre almost anti-Disney desolate environment.

You are right in thinking this isn't your average Mickey Mouse game - it isn't.

This is a world that you are forced to discover and a world that you must try and escape, to do so you must embrace the power of the paint!

Disney have come up with an excellent mechanic for the gameplay which see you wielding a paintbrush and using paint and thinner to progress.

For example you can restore things with paint and erase things with thinner - that's on a very basic level.

Dashing around breathing life into the landscape via the paintbrush is actually really addictive and it is executed so well.

The crux of the game is creativity, not only involving the environment but also in the choices that you can make to shape the game.

As well as the paintrbrush fun the game is a pretty decent platformer too and with some seriously well-designed levels and the overall feel of the game this is a quality title indeed.

It has a unique aura about it that I think many Disney fans will get but a lot of the critics seem to have missed. I have seen every review imaginable for this game ranging from diabolical to the delighted.

The truth as far as I am concerned is that this is a really quirky little title with excellent graphics and gameplay in a fantasy environment only Disney could create and indeed dispose of!

There are glitches, mainly the fiddly camera controls but all in all this is an excellent Wii game and a superb family game.
