I never thought I would be so delighted to see a horde of flesh-eating zombies.
This long-awaited sequel to the excellent Dead Rising is finally here and it's just as gruesomely brilliant as its predecessor.
EA produced a pretty special slice of gaming with NHL 10, it was everything an ice hockey game needed to be and more.
A tall act to follow, how do you top a game that really had it all?
Well, EA always seem to manage it.

The official release date for the highly anticipated new console game "The X Factor" is unveiled today.
The game is based on the hit ITV talent show The X Factor and is produced by Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, and FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME). "The X Factor" video game will be available across the UK on October 29.
"The X Factor" will capture the excitement and entertainment of the TV show, including auditions, boot camp, appearances in judges' houses and live shows. In addition to the Career mode, "The X Factor" offers a Party mode with four different varieties of gameplay.
WRC FIA World Rally Championship, the racing videogame developed by Milestone Studios, is being supported by Kick Energy during WRC's UK campaign.
With major links in British rally and WRC including the sponsorship of rising rally star Craig Breen, the Kick Energy rally team will be touring the UK with WRC. Their first stop will be at TRAX this Sunday 5th September.
Located at the home of British motorsport, Silverstone Circuit, TRAX is the UK's biggest event for all performance and modified cars. TRAX visitors will able to play previews of the game before anyone else in the UK and will be treated to rides around the circuit with Craig Breen throughout the day, who, aged just 20, won the Fiesta Sport Trophy International Shootout in 2009 and is now working closely with the team at M-Sport, which operates Ford's World Rally programme.
If that wasn't enough, visitors will be given the chance to win a Subaru WRX STI kitted out with its own PlayStationî3 worth a total of ã10k, driving experiences, consoles and copies of the game to celebrate the launch of the rally simulation game out on October 8th for PlayStationî3, Xboxî360 and PC.

TRAX, the UK's ultimate event for drivers and fans of performance cars, is to dominate Silverstone, the home of British motor-sport, on Sunday 5th September, featuring the all-new Live Action Arena sponsored by racing game nail'd.

Juicy drench brings its new concept in vending to Birmingham's Bull Ring on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2010.
The drench Smart Vending Machine, with an intelligent interactive touch-screen, is programmed with a number of fun games that test mental agility in order to demonstrate that brains perform best when they're hydrated.
Members of the Birmingham public will be rewarded with free bottles of Juicy drench spring water dispensed by the Smart Vending Machine for tackling the challenges.
The state-of-the-art vending machine will allow members of the public in Birmingham to try out 40 different games via the touch screens on the Smart Vending Machine, ranging from clever maths tasks through to contemporary 'spot the difference' challenges.
