Splinter Cell Conviction

By Steve Wollaston on May 4, 10 01:08 PM

The Splinter Cell franchise is back with a bang and armed with plenty of new features and improvements that will please fans old and new.

The game has been beefed up considerably and is now quicker, more action-packed and very slick indeed.

You play as Sam Fisher, now working for himself as a man on a mission to find his daughter's killer.

As usual, the emphasis is on stealth and tactics with plenty of gadgets.

The gameplay is at your call really, you can opt to go in all guns blazing or you can use stealth for a more strategic, clinical and sinister form of enemy disposal.

The stealth aspect is the most rewarding and when you get it right it is sensational.

Graphically the game excels with the shadowy world in which you operate brought to life in considerable style.

It's a very brutal game, but one that is never less than exhilarating.

Whether you play it on your own, with a friend or via Xbox Live you are guaranteed a stellar gaming experience.
