By Steve Wollaston on Apr 27, 10 03:23 AM

THE finalé of Sony's massive God Of War trilogy finally appears on the PS3 after three years in development by Californian wizards SCEA.

And it's one of the most highly anticipated games of this generation of hardware - on any platform.

THE BBC has unveiled the first details of its episodic games which form part of the current series of Doctor Who.

City of the Daleks is the first of four new adventures which take the form of downloadable computer games available for PC and Mac.

This first episode will be available for free download from www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho on June 5.

'City of the Daleks' features the new breed of Daleks which premiered on television in last week's 'Victory of the Daleks'.

Judging by the popularity of the cult TV series, this could be a real winner from the BBC.

Have you played them?

With computer users wasting seven hours per month trying to solve their own technical problems*, the report shows Britain to be a hotbed of frustrated computer users who regularly rant and rave at their machines.

Alice In Wonderland star Eleanor Tomlinson recently sat down to discuss the new film and the new games for the DS and Wii.

She chatted about the different levels in the new game, talked cheats and spoke about the film.

That's the idea anyway as 2K Play - the people who brought all the fun of the fair to the Wii with their popular Carnival compilation - try to repeat the trick.

THERE'S no denying that a vast majority of gamers are crying out for a real Doctor Who game and now the BBC has announced they are set to launch a series of them on the PC and Mac this June.

Doctor Who: The Adventure Games will consist of four two-hour interactive adventures, with players taking control of the digitally recreated Doctor and Amy as they embark on new adventures which coincide with the new TV series.

Great news for us geeks!
