Review: Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 (PSP)

By Steve Wollaston on Mar 18, 10 03:27 PM

LOCK and load... it's time to lead a two-man Navy SEAL squad into situations you'll need to blast yourself out of. This first-person shooter is one of the best you'll find on the Sony handheld, but it's not all about gunfights.

Along with your computer team-mate you can employ stealth and tactics to dish out steaming ladles of justice. While you can fight it out through a failed former Russian state, there's more action to be had online.

Supporting 16 players, the multiplayer mode is very polished indeed and is one of the main attractions to the game with a fast frame rate and awesome weaponry.

Steve Wollaston - Sunday Mercury games reviewer Steve has been writing about video games for donkey's years. In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... He has been nominated three times for Regional Games Journalist Of The Year at the Games Media Awards, but never wins. His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
