Scene It: Bright Lights, Big Screen (360)

Apologies for not bringing you this title in the Christmas round-up, but there have been so many games lately we have literally been drowning in a sea of Japanese RPG's and Wii party games!

When it comes to family party games, the Scene It! franchise is just the job for when you have friends over or fancy some good family fun.

This popular four-player movie-related quiz game is great for gathering round the box, whether you are armed with the Buzz controllers or just standard controllers.

The quiz is based on films from over the decades and presents the questions in the form of puzzles and movie clips.

The game has lot of different varieties of puzzles to keep the questions fresh and entertaining and it has numerous game modes also to cater for all.

If you fancy yourself as a film buff or a movie mastermind then now is the time to prove it!

The game has cleaned up it's interface since it's last outing and it looks cleaner and is much easier to use.

Interestingly the very popular online aspect has been removed for no apparent reason at all.

That said this is a great fun party game that is neatly designed, is fun to play and is challenging.

I liked the clean nature of the game's design and it does have a user-friendly manner about it which is important for family titles.

Worth a look!

In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
