Sherlock Holmes Vs Jack The Ripper (Xbox 360)
Never has a game perplexed me more than this one.
It's easy to look straight at the iffy graphics and diabolical voice acting and head straight for the off switch.
The presentation of the game in my opinion is naff to put it midly, yet something kept me playing and I am glad it did.
This is not the best game in the world or anywhere even close, but the subject matter in the game is excellent as you take on the role of Sherlock Holmes investigating the Whitechapel Murders and the mystery of Jack The Ripper.
It's a gritty setting and an even grittier subject matter but it's the perfect atmospheric setting for some point and click sleuthing.
I enjoed elements of this game a great deal particularly the investigation elements but I can't help feeling that had the game had a bigger budget we could have been looking at a much better game than the flawed game that this is.
