Pony Friends 2 (DS)

By Steve Wollaston on Dec 4, 09 02:30 PM

This game has kept my youngest two daughters out of mischief for the last couple of days and it's fair to say they love it.

Packed onto one little DS cartridge is a fantastically in-depth game that gives gamers the chance to create, groom, befriend, and race their own pet.

A lot of invention has been incorporated into the game to make the most out of the DS Stylus and the voice facility.

Katie aged 11 told us what she thinks:

"I love the game, it's brilliant having your own virtual pony especially when it responds to you and acts like your friend.

"My little sister is 3 and she has taken over the game but when she has gone to bed I play it straight away.

"There is a lot to keep you interested and you really do feel like you own your own pony."

Steve Wollaston - Sunday Mercury games reviewer Steve has been writing about video games for donkey's years. In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... He has been nominated three times for Regional Games Journalist Of The Year at the Games Media Awards, but never wins. His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
