Peppa Pig (Wii)

By Steve Wollaston on Dec 22, 09 02:24 PM

My three-year-old girl is so obsessed with Peppa Pig she even calls me Daddy Pig.

That may have something to do with my love of crisps though I guess.

If you have young children and you have a Wii it's a fair bet that this game is on your radar anyway already.

Which is no bad thing at all. At the lower end of the price bracket this is great value for money.

There is quite lot packed into the game as your child joins in Pepper and George's with their favourite games and activities.

The 11 games and activities including: Muddy Puddles Happy Mrs. Chicken Bubble Bath Kite Flying Car Trip Pancake Flipping Carwash Parrot Snowman Hide and Seek Colouring In.

It's bright and jolly gaming aimed at the littlest of kids and therefore it isn't the most in-depth or sophisticated game in the world.

It looks great though and what's more it give the younger game a unique chance to take control of their favourite character.

Lily loved it, she thought it was great fun and didn't seem to bore of the action at all.

I have seen a few critical reviews of the game on Amazon but I think people need to remember that to appeal to a young child a game has to be highly rudimentary at it#'s core.

And it is a game for them after all. Sure there are things that could have been here and some of the glitches etc made me cringe at times.

It put a huge smile on Lily's face though and for me that is worth the budget price.
