Jambo Safari Ranger Adventure (Wii)

By Steve Wollaston on Dec 4, 09 02:24 PM

One of the biggest surprises to land on my doorstep in recent weeks, and you should have seen my daughter's mobile phone bill!

I hadn't seen this game on the release schedule but rarely have I seen the kids happier playing a game.

Based on the old arcade game the game retains the arcade style gameplay as you hurtle round in your jeep as a ranger chasing escaped animals.

You also have to look after the animals with chores like washing them and brushing their teeth etc.

Visually the game is fantastic and it also uses the Wii-mote to brilliant effect with you using it as a lasso to catch the animals and to control your vehicle.

The animals in the game need to be kept happy and healthy, they need photographing and there are lots more adventures to keep you happy.

Party games add to the mix and all in all this is a fantastic, fun game for all the family.
