Easy Piano (Nintendo DS)

By Steve Wollaston on Dec 16, 09 01:25 PM

In terms of value for money I can honestly say that the Nintendo DS has been the best money I have spent.

The versatility and innovation I have seen over the last few years and the pleasure it has given my kids is second to none.

Even now though it still throws up surprises.

Like Easy Piano, a musical game that comes equipped with an 8-note piano keyboard.

The Piano Controller simply plugs into your DS and away you go making music and learning the notes.

The games tracklisting contains 40 of some of the worlds most famous songs for you to play along with from Mozart, or to Bohemian Rhapsody, Bittersweet Symphony, Every Breath You Take or even The Jingle Bells theme tune.

There are 2 different difficulty settings and it's good fun seeing how good you can get.

You can indulge in creation mode or study in lesson mode. Both of which are great fun and highly rewarding.

If you are a musical sole then this a great game. I enjoyed it just as much as my kids did.

Something different, which I like.

In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
