Secret Service (Xbox 360)

By Steve Wollaston on Apr 29, 09 02:22 PM

As the title would suggest you play as a Secret Service Agent who is tasked with defending America on Inauguration Day when the president gets shot.

The terrorist threat is real and you find yourself in the firing line and tackling a whole manner of tense situations as the enemy attacks.

Some great tactical battles with sniper rifles and grenades share centre stage with handguns and assault rifles.

One of the finest things about the game is the fantastic settings - battle on Air Force One, at the Capitol Building and The White House!

The First Person Shooter genre has been done to a death, it's such a well trodden path that game like this find it very hard to look like they aren't just tearing the heart out of games like Call of Duty and friends.

This game has serious limitations despite a few positive points like the settings, storyline etc.

Really there is nothing here that makes this stand-out or come close to the market leaders in this genre. In saying that I didn't despise playing it by any means.
