100 Classic Book Collection (Nintendo DS)

By Steve Wollaston on Mar 24, 09 12:52 PM

Games consoles are becoming very creative in their uses, they are being used not only for leisure purposes, they are also now being used for fitness and even education.

The medium that has been slated over the years for turning our brains to mush are now starting to really make people notice that they can have an altogether more responsible place in the home.

Nintendo have always pushed their products into having as many uses as possible - see the Wii.

This latest DS title they have introduced is a collection of classic novels that you can read on your DS.

100% that simple. Change the size of the text to suit you and flick the pages with the stylus - brilliant.

From Sense and Sensibility to Treasure Island, Moby Dick to A Midsummer Night's Dream all of the biggest classic authors are here and with 100 books crammed into one it certainly saves space on the bookshelf.

This is absolute genius. Of the highest order, totally practical, as good as it sounds and well worth owning.

Is this the way the world is going? The mind boggles.

Steve Wollaston - Sunday Mercury games reviewer Steve has been writing about video games for donkey's years. In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... He has been nominated three times for Regional Games Journalist Of The Year at the Games Media Awards, but never wins. His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
