Sony Playstation 3 milestone

By Steve Wollaston on Feb 28, 09 04:51 PM

SONY has announced that the number of registered accounts on PlayStation Network worldwide has exceeded 20 million.

It's been a huge success.

The number of accounts reached five million in one year and two months.

There were 10 million in one year and eight months, and more than 20 million in only two years and three months from the launch.

The number of users connected to PlayStation Network is ever-growing proof that there is online gaming other than Xbox Live!

Get connected.

This does however include PSP / PS3 / PS2 and is also a free service compared to Sony free, now if XBL went free.....

Neill, a fair point.

Sony service is clearly a good one. Is it as good as the paid for XBL though?

In fact he is probably far too old for it now which is why you will see a lot of reviews been done by kids... He has been nominated three times for Regional Games Journalist Of The Year at the Games Media Awards, but never wins. His major love is sports games and rates Sensible World of Soccer circa 90's as the greatest game ever made - closely followed by Championship Manager 2. Skyrim has currently taken over his life.
