Probably the most space-age looking thing that have landed on my desk in a long time - they are also one of the most impressive, these are some seriously, seriously powerful and funky speakers.

Altec Lansing have come up with the industry's first 2.2 powered speaker system FX3022.

Altec declares that the speakers deliver crisp vocals and high frequency details making it one versatile device to fall for.

I reckon they are right, we hooked these up in our house to the PC and to an Ipod and neither disappointed in the testing process, the speakers deliver a whacking sound with a real kick and certainly give your tunes some real purpose.

I am looking forward to trying out the new Guns and Roses album on these beauties in a couple of week's time.

The speakers look very snazzy and almost Dalek like, the sleek black speakers sit very nicely on my desktop and are a very welcome addition indeed, they ooze class.

The speaker houses 4" subwoofers at the base and 1.5 inch drivers. You can easily connect to MP3 players and iPods using Auxillary input jack and enjoy the distortion free high quality audio.

Despite the mega-bass incorporated in the speakers they deliver a precision sound and bring movies and games to life.

These are a seriously high end speaker that delivers on all fronts.
