Lego Batman (Xbox 360) - Warner Brothers Interactive

I am having a fairly easy week this week, the kids have been at it again reviewing games for me.. Lego Batman is the latest in a series of visually stunning and ludicrously brilliant and addictive games depicting famous films in lego bricks.
I don't know why these games work so well, perhaps it is the quirkiness, brilliant graphics, comic genius, who knows? There are so many reasons to tell people to play these games, for me Star Wars was the ultimate game, Indiana Jones was fantastic and Batman keeps the series flying high.
Right, will hand over to the kids again, I am off to make a brew!
Emily (15): Having played the other two games we were really looking forward to this and it didn't dissapoint us - at first the game seems quite difficult but it is quite easy once you get the hang of it
Katie (10): I like how you can play as single or two player. If you are on single player you can switch from Batman to Robin because both of them have different powers in different suits. In two player mode you still play the story but player one is Batman and player two is Robin. I enjoyed playing as both characters because they both have different powers and outfits.
Emily: Like the other lego games I like how you can collect the studs and how you have to build things. For instance, in Lego Batman, you have to break things and then make a circle on the ground that will either have a picture of Batman or an 'R' for Robin on it and you have to put it together and then once you have made it, it will reveal a new costume for either Batman or Robin depending on the picture on it. You can change into this outfit by jumping onto the circle.
Katie: The different outfits are good because each one gives you different powers. For example, Batman has a glide outfit which allows him to glide from one place to another and Robin has a Technical suit which allows him to mess with circuit boxes which usually reveal a toy robot that he has to drive through a small hole that either Batman or Robin can't fit through.
Emily: I like how you have the Batcave where you can keep going to. Here you can continue or start 3 stories. There is the story which you can access via the car, another you can access via the boat and the final one you can access via the plane.
Katie: I like all of the Lego villains because you get through the level and then you have to defeat the villain that it describes you as you start the mission.
It's good how once you have finished on of the stories you can play as Clayface and the Riddler and you can play as the baddy on missions and they have a similar place to retire to like the Batcave but it is a prison for all of the villains.
Emily: Throughout the whole game you have to use your head and keep aware of everything on the screen which is good because you never know what is going to happen next.
Emily and Katie: There were no bad points about this game. I really enjoyed it.
Score: 5/5

I don't understand the thinking behind the Lego computer games it seems as though someone once upon a time sid to them how do we deal with kids playing on computers? lets make computer games instead of creating something more obviously related. At least the games are good though.
