The last external hard-drive I had was probably about the size of a shoebox so you can imagine my delight when I got asked to review one that is the same size as a credit card - just a bit thicker.

This external drive is as fresh and stylish as they come with a very sleek, slender and funky design. The casing for the drive is very neat with a shiny, durable metal finish that makes it a must-have accessory.

Weighing in at about the same weight as a Mars Bar the DataStation can fit in any pocket making it very easy to take wherever you want.

Being an internet geek and computer addict I am always storing and transferring files on a regular basis so this 20GB storage unit was perfect in terms of it's portable genius... so I love the look of it and the practicality, but how does it work?

The answer to that is brilliantly, with a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection the device is rapid and transfers from source to target with immense speed.

It really was just a case of plug it in and get cracking too which is fantastic, it comes equipped with Nero BackItUp 2 Essentials and is suitable for Windows ME, 2000, XP, Vista, Macs OS X, Linux - from Kernel 2.6.

I found this product nothing short of brilliant, it has revolutionalised my file storage, at the end of the day I have always been a fan of the flash drives but when you have such a good piece of kit at such a small size it is making a serious contest of it.
