Former Aston Villa star Tony Cascarino among leaders of EPT London
FORMER Aston Villa star Tony Cascarino is flying high among the early leaders of the record-breaking PokerStars EPT London.
The former soccer pro is sitting pretty in seventh place on 181,000 chips at the event which has attracted an astonishing 848 entries - boosting the first place prize to £900,000.
But by close of play just 235 players had survived for Day Two today, including top names like Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu and the UK's own Sam Trickett and Liv Boeree.
Italian Claudio Cecchi is leading the field on 237,500 chips, while USA Soheb Porbandarwala is on 218,600.
