BABY-faced poker star Tom 'Durr' Dwan has scooped the biggest pot in TV history - pocketing a cool $1.1 million.

The 23-year-old beat card legend Phil Ivey to earn the huge payday during filming of the Full Tilt Poker Million Dollar Cash Game.

Dwan got off to a rough start, losing a monster $500,000 pot to Patrik Antonius after seeing his aces cracked by trip kings.

The blinds were $1000/$2000 when the record pot between Ivey and Dwan went down.

Dwan had the button and raised pre-flop. Ivey re-raised from the small blind, Antonius folded, and Dwan made the call.

The flop came Qc-3d-5c.

Ivey bet $40,000, and Dwan made the call. The turn brought the 4h.

Ivey bet out again, only to be raised by Dwan. After a few minutes of thought, Ivey declared that he was all-in.

Dwan snap-called, turning over 6h-7h for the nut straight. Ivey, stunned at his bad luck, turned over Ac-2h for a five-high straight.

Unfortunately for Ivey, he was now drawing dead in the hand, and Dwan was shipped the $1.1 million pot.

The win eclipses the previous record set by Barry Greenstein of $919,600 during season five of the High Stakes Poker show

POKER babe Victoria Coren is off to a storming start in the World Championship Of Online Poker on Pokerstars.
The blonde bombshell, a member of Team Pokerstars, has shown she's right at the top of her game by cashing in three out of four tournaments so far - and crashing out on the bubble in the fourth.
Our Vicky finished 580th in the £530 event, collecting £1,026 and made £770 after finishing 177th in the £215 game. The former EPT champ also banked a further £620 from the £320 Badugi comp and bubbled in the £1,050 tournie.
Not a huge fortune, but a very impressive run of results for the talented writer and TV presenter who admits sacrificing her sleep for the beautiful game.
She twittered at 6am this morning: ''Right. Two nights off to sleep. If you catch me playing a WCOOP before Friday, have me arrested for lunacy - sleep deprived lunacy.''
The WCOOP, the largest internet tournament of its kind, runs on Pokerstars until September 20.
• Victoria's new book, For Richer, For Poorer, A Love Affair With Poker is out on September 17.
