Why I hate Man United, What Happened when I met The Manic Street Preachers, and The Walk for Matt 09

What can I say after last night, I was so excited and after Wenger claimed we would definitely win, I really believed that the Mighty Gooners would go out there and play to their full potential and smash United.......oh dear!

Honestly, the atmosphere at the Emirates was buzzing for a whole 7 minutes before Gibbs slipped and allowed in Ji Sung Park for their first, and then of course, we gave away THAT free kick 40 yards out.........and well you know the rest.

Almunia should have done better, but it goes to show that even at that range, just how important it is to get your shot on target. After that, well it was all United, and it really did look like men against boys for the rest of the game, with United's second being a touch of class!

So what next for Arsenal and Wenger, well we haven't won any major trophy since the FA Cup in 2005, so it is starting to get a bit frustrating and I reckon something needs to be done. I don't think we need to bring in that many players, but simply give the youngsters who show so much potential a chance to play in more games, I really would prefer to have Vela, Ramsey and Wilshere in the starting 11 and start bringing them through now so that our regular first teamers aren't so complacent.

Anyway, Wenger knows what he is doing, and we have too much quality to not win something soon, but let's hope its next season eh! As for tonight, I would love Chelsea to go through, but think it will be a Barca vs. Man Utd final...and bring that on!

We had the Lovely James Dean Bradfield in from the Manic's today, not only did he do an amazing Live @ Kerrang/Q gig, but he signed the Streetbike R6 that we are auctioning off in the summer (we changed our minds when it didn't sell on eBay - so we are having a big charity auction!) and I can say was a thoroughly nice bloke, he even took my piss taking about his beloved Cardiff Blues getting beaten by Leicester!!!

Right, charity time peeps, something very important is happening from Friday, and that is the Walk For Matt '09, a walk from the birthplace of rugby....erm....Rugby, all the way to Twickenham for the Guinness Premiership final for next weekend, Its 110 miles in 8 days, and you can sponsor or donate money for this amazing cause and find out more at www.walk4matt.org.

Loads of famous rugby players will be taking part such as Martin Johnson, Graham Rowntree, James Haskell, Bill Beaumont, Harry Ellis, Shaun Edwards and Rory Underwood plus many other current and former players from premiership clubs and internationals too!

In other words if you fancy getting taking part please do, you can download sponsor forms and all the info is on the site, as Matt Hampson is a bit of hero to me. An England U21 rugby player, he was paralysed from the neck down in a game, and since then has dedicated his life to helping others. I cant tell you how much of an inspiration this guy is to me, and whenever I feel down, selfish or just annoyed at something, I think of Matt's bravery and courage, and amazing outlook on life and it makes me realise what's important- so if you want to donate go here.

You can check out the press launch of the walk here, see if you can spot me, they even do a close up on my guns at one point (its 38 seconds in if you miss em!)

Ps Lets hope England can beat the Windies in the Test match that starts at Lord's today, as I write this Straussy is already out....D'oh!

Right I'm off to DJ at the Worcester Lounge tonight in Worcester with my mate Johnny Doom from the Temple of Doom and Late License at Kerrang, and will be back with another sport-tastic blog on Friday!
