Champions League fun, having a good Stroke, and Being cool by proxy!

Firstly, yay, Arsenal got a good result against Villarreal last night, sure we should have scored more, but so should have they, so I'm very happy to take an away goal back to the Emirates.
Plus how good is it to see Fabregas back and fit, man that boy is class, I reckon he could pass the ball through the eye of a needle........although why he would want to I have no idea, and to be fair it's probably not the top of his priorities at the moment.......shame! Oh and about our goal, I need say no more than......Aaaaaadddddddddddeeeeeeeeeeebbbbbbbbaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyoooooooorrrrrrrr!

Manchester United are doing what everyone said they wouldn't do, they're looking tired, they seem to have run out of ideas and are throwing away the chance of the Quintuple-ism-age. Personally I find it quite liberating, and it shows that they are actually human and not just some mechanised army controlled by the alien that lives in Alex Fergusons brain........as is one of my theories.

Also tonight there are two corking games, Liverpool vs. Chelsea who have met so often at this stage they probably feel that no one else is getting a chance to get a game in (they should play each other loads at the start of the season and get it out of the way), and of course Barcelona versus Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp, where the two form teams in the tournament come head to head. The beauty of being an Arsenal fan is that I can now watch all the drama unfold tonight without really getting that bothered about it, so bring on the nail biting footy drama!
Good to see that the Blues beat Wolves the other night to to keep the Championship title race a bit more interesting, although I do feel both teams will secure automatic promotion and will be able to wave to the Baggies on their way down (sorry Baggies fans!).
Yesterday I headed down on my new motorbike to Leander Rowing Club in Henley-on-Thames to film a chat and hang out with Hannah Moon, a young GB rower who has the world at her feet. Two things struck me, one how I would love to live there one day as its "well lush", secondly, how lazy I am, and how good it is to see an 18 year old passionate about her sport and so dedicated to it, instead of going down the park drinking ten bottles of over strength lager and heading down to McDonalds for a rave!

So far I have met two people for this new show, and both have inspired me, hearing Hannah talk about the 2016 Olympics (which at only 18 years old is almost half her life away!) as being her long term goal made me realise just how serious you have to be to compete at the top level. I would also like to say how charming, amiable and just down right fun she was to hang around with and thanks to Leander for letting us come down and film her.
Today has been amazing at Kerrang towers, and we have had three bands in, all who signed the Kerrang Streetbike motorbike first up Canadians Theory of a Deadman:
Also Go:Audio popped in ahead of their gig at the Academy tonight:
And finally the legendary Silversun Pickups also came over before heading back to the US:
So now I reckon we have filled the bike up with signatures, its time to raise some cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust! It will be on eBay at the end of the week, and check back here Friday for more info and for a link.
The rest of this week I shall be balancing all of my work around DJ'ing in Worcester tomorrow night at the Velvet Lounge spinning some really heavy stuff filling in for my mate Johnny Doom, and heading home over the weekend to see my family for Easter!
Oh and Singing 'Enry off Kate & OJ's show here at Kerrang is up for the Rising star award at this years Sony's (Radio's Oscars!) so please go vote for him here and we also got nominated for the breakfast show with Simon James and Hill, and for Station of the year!!!!
Catch ya Friday, and keep on loving life my friends!
