A vital day in the football, plus the Bees crank it up a notch!

So today see's Wolves having the chance to clinch automatic promotion, if they beat QPR and the Blues don't get 3 points, and how much of a relief will that be to their long suffering fans, who so often have seen them throw away the league before.

Also Leicester will go up as Champions of League One if they win away at Southend today, a game with the Foxes should manage to wrap up.
Aston Villa take on an improving West ham, who have definitely turned a corner under Zola, but MON's boys should have enough in the tank to see them off at Villa park.

If that wasn't enough, you also have the EDF Energy Cup at Twickers, Guinness premiership action, Murray vs. Nadal in the Semi's of the Monte Carlo masters, the start of the IPL with Freddie and KP in action, county cricket, and the Chinese Grand Prix!
Awesome!
This afternoon my rugby team, the Birmingham & Solihull Bee's could move within 80 minutes of automatic promotion National League One if they beat Tyndale when they kick off in the vital away match at 3pm.

Tynedale, bring to the table a phenomenal 37 home game winning streak that stretches back to September 2006, and will be gunning for their 38th and the double on the promotion chasing Midlanders.
The only side to have come away with a win from Sharmans Cross Road (in the league this season), Bees will be looking to set the record straight after under performing when the teams first met back in December 2008...Tynedale running out 24-28 winners.
Apart from points difference the two teams are fairly evenly matched on paper but it is the number of tries scored in the last 10 minutes of the match that proves the most interesting stat - Tynedale have scored 7 tries compared to Bees' 27 - but can Tynedale take the pace of a Bees' side in form and if they can, how will Bees' respond?
Changes to the team that successfully navigated the Cornish All Blacks on the road last week are few. Ben Phillips returns to the squad having shaken off his hip flexor niggle with the agile Jack Preece hoping to make an impact from the replacements bench. Rob Connolly pushes Chris Brightwell to No. 8 with Leo Halavatau a powerful substitute whilst Andy Daish fills the final squad space.
So let's hope they can pull out a win!
