Birmingham City, Christmas turkey ban and a long overdue holiday!
Good morning,
First of all I just wanted to say how sorry I am for having missed the last couple of weeks. I've been slightly under the cosh...
By the looks of it so is Birmingham city - we've been rough for the last couple of weeks. Obviously I was glad to see us beat Chalton and Swansea even though we did it the hard way.
Still seating in the second position even though we're not playing that well...so the best is still to come! Listen to me the optimistic Blues fan!
Things are in full flow for Christmas...the German market is here, the restaurant is filling up....the festive period!
The great thing about Purnell's is that you won't see a turkey here...you can save that and eat it at home!!!
It's a shame that we turn to the turkey for Christmas even though there will probably be one at my house - not by my choice! We really should look at goose or duck - something a little traditional.
I'm really looking forward to this festive period as me and my family are going to Portugal for a week. I haven't had a holiday for a good few years.
Anyway, must fly and off to the Germa market Sunday to sample some of their culonary delight and their beer so, AUFWIERDERSEN and ADIEU ADIEU ADIEU....
Oh the hills are alive,
Cheers chief!
