Taylor Lautner beheaded a mannequin of Kanye West on Saturday Night Live.

The Twilight: New Moon star re-enacted the night of the MTV Video Music Awards in September, when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech, for a comedy sketch as he appeared as guest host on the NBC show.

Lautner was joined by mannequins with masks of Kanye and Swift's faces on, and performed kung fu kicks on the Kanye dummy and beheaded it before kissing Swift.

Lautner and Swift are yet to officially confirm they are dating, but when the singer guest hosted Saturday Night Live recently she performed a spoof song in which she blew the actor a kiss.

Well, not really but this guy is very good!

No it's not a shameless exercise in search engine optimisation.

New Moon may have broken box-office records when it opened at the weekend - but star Tayor Lautner had his doubts about the latest offering from the Twilight franchise.

Apparently, Lautner told werewolf co-star Alex Meraz a few weeks ago that he thought Twilight fans would just keep re-watching the original rather than come and see the latest installment.

Talking to US entertainment website Hollyscoop at the American Music Awards at the weekend, Meraz said: "Me and Taylor Lautner were eating and talking about it.

"We were like 'We don't know if its going to be this big,' just because we knew Twilight fans watched it over and over again. So we're like, 'I don't know if they're gonna do that again.' To see these numbers I am like cool, we're alright."

In Twilight: New Moon, Taylor Lautner, who plays Edward's love rival Jacob, the new best friend and protector of Kirsten Stewart's character Bella Swan, could help to deflect some of the admiration away from Robert Pattinson.

Because Jacob can morph into a giant werewolf, Taylor had to pile on 30lbs of muscle. It was clearly something director Chris Weitz was keen to show off as Taylor is topless for many scenes - though Robert also whips off his shirt when Edward tries to reveal to the world that he is a vampire (they sparkle in sunlight).
