"Truebies" can visit the HBO UK Shop online (store.hbouk.com) to enter for their chance to win one of seven authentic wardrobe pieces online (www.truebloodsweeps.co.uk), just in time to wear for Halloween.

The sweepstakes will launch on September 7, and will be open for entries until October 14th, with winners drawn randomly on October 18th

If you are stuck for an idea for Father's Day and need a last minute gift or just want to drop a hint to your kids then HBO could have the answer.

The HBO® online shop (http://store.hbouk.com) is stocked to the rafters with merchandise from award-winning HBO shows such as True Blood, Treme, Boardwalk Empire, Entourage and Game of Thrones.

Promote a Dad to prohibition-era power with a Boardwalk Empire engraved lighter, or allow him to kick back in Southern style with a True Blood Merlotte's beer glass filled with the Tru Blood Beverage.

Share a moment listening to the Grammy nominated Treme soundtrack or a laugh with the Entourage box set.

The store also offers a diverse range of fashion accessories, mugs and more which include witty catchphrase or nostalgia slogans. Delight even the most discerning of TV critics; with T-shirts, hoodies and a slick Game of Thrones sword letter opener to liven up any office desk.

LARA PULVER.jpg

Sexy True Blood star Lara Pulver is to get her teeth into Spooks.

Lara, who plays Sookie Stackhouse's fairy godmother Claudine Crane in the bayou vampire series, will take over as the new head of the covert spy team.

She'll be replacing Sophia Myles, who played Beth Bailey, when the tenth run of the MI5 thriller from the Beeb hits screens in the Autumn.

Lara's character, we're told, will be "ambitious, hungry and determined to make her mark" - something she perfected as the treacherous Isabella in BBC1's Robin Hood.

But rest assured that good ol' Harry Pearce will still be the puppetmaster, even though secrets from his past threaten his role as MI5 chief.

And there are more exciting additions to the cast! Read on ...

Stephen Moyer - Anna Paquin

Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin aren't haunted by the vampires or werewolves they have to deal with on a daily basis for True Blood.

"We go home and dream about marshmallows!" Stephen laughed, speaking before a special question and answer event with fans at the PaleyFest in Beverly Hills.

The actor, who plays Bill Compton on the hit US fantasy series, reckons the show just keeps getting better.

"It's the dream that you dream of in terms that it's good, it's beautifully written, it's fantastically shot and each episode looks like a mini movie," he explained.

"If you were to put together your dream gig of how it would end up it wouldn't be much further away from this."
