Last year we created a 't-shirt of the day' section on Anorak City, for a whole week we published one every day.

Then we turned all rubbish and forgot all about it.

It has to be said though the guys at Nerdoh have shamed us into remembering why we started it in the first place by releasing this truly awesome Batman t-shirt.

Simply title 'McJoker' it shows the Joker in full Ronald McDonald kit.

A must have purchase!

We can (all) be heroes

By Alison Jones on Oct 20, 11 07:04 PM

HERO MENS NAVY VISUAL-01.jpegIf you have been holding out for a hero(es) day, the first ever UK one happens tomorrow (Oct 21). Its intended to honour anyone who might be considered a hero, from soldiers to pioneers to parents. Schools and businesses are being invited to participate, coming to work or class dressed as their personal hero.

If you want to keep it simple, and have something you can wear all year round, invest in this Hero Tee Hee shirt. The loose fitting pop-art tee comes in cool blue and costs £19.99 from www.moretvicar.com

My daughter Lily recently got her hands on one of the Disney vintage range of t-shirts (pictured) that the company do and she absolutely loved it.

The great thing is that they look different and they have a really cool look to them that set them aside from your run-of-the-mill kids clothes.

There is a vast range covering top brands like The Gruffallo, Dr Seuss, Sesame Street, MR Men, Disney and so on and so forth.

For you Anorak City parents though there are some rather splendid Batman and Superman t-shirts from DC Comics and some Hulk, Spiderman and Thor shirts from Marvel.

They all look fantastic and will give your offspring some serious geek cred.

The t-shirts I found most endearing though were the Star Wars t-shirts - just brilliant.

Take a look for yourself, I'm already preparing my next order!

Sexy blonde bombshell Maggie Grace who played Shannon in Lost is swapping one mega-hit franchise for another by signing up to star in Twilight: Breaking Dawn alongside Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart.

Grace, is said to be playing Irina a member of the Denali vampire clan.

Production is set to start on the films early next year.

We could have picked dozens of shirts to recommend for you from this particular website but we chose one of their latest designs today.

This latest subtle Ghostbusters shirt has a not so subtle glow in the dark effect.

It's a brilliant t-shirt and a worthy addition to the excellent designs already on offer at www.lastexittonowhere.com

It's my birthday on Friday and my kids have been instructed that I must be given one of these as a present.

Excellent t-shirt at http://www.splitreason.com/product/646# that shows the true nature of the dark side!
