LINDA HAMILTON has hinted that she wouldn't mind making a cameo in a new Terminator movie.

The Holy Water actress - who played Sarah Connor in the first two films - said appearing in a future Terminator flick or even playing a killer cyborg herself would be fun.

"Wouldn't that be great?" she smiled. "Yes, but I think that would require a certain kind of level of fitness.

"They wouldn't make a Terminator model of Sarah Connor at the age of 53, now would they?" she laughed.

"If they could find some way to bring my youth and strength back, not that I'm that far off track, but to be compared to one's self 25 years earlier, you take a risk."

Saw this while mooching about Nat Saunders Worm Hotel

While Ginger-gate still rages on in the Doctor Who community, David Tennant's tenure as (not quite) the last of the time lords has been recognised by sci-fi watchers. They have voted him best actor in the inaugural Total Sci-Fi Awards 2009.

The fan led campaign to bring attention to Sam Rockwell's performance as Sam Bell in Duncan Jones directorial MOON was cranked up a notch today by the release of a wonderful, tongue in cheek appeal video created by campaigner Chris Trevarthen

Spurred on by the lack of support from Sony Picture Classics when it came to sending out screener DVDs to Oscar Academy voters, fans from all over the world have met through social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, joined by a common desire to see an actor who has delivered a stunning performance, be recognized by his peers at the highest level, by receiving a nomination for Best Actor in the 2010 Academy Awards.

Very basically, if the studio are not promoting MOON to the academy voters (all 5,777 of them) then the fans will. With only 10 days to go until Oscar ballot return deadline (23rd January 2010), time is of the esscence. So, if you have seen MOON, loved Sam Rockwell's performance, and want to help out you can:

Heroes is back for a new season on the Beeb.

But don't expect the edge of the seat antics that closed the last series.

The new episodes have attracted a record low viewing audience in the States.

And word is that unless Heroes improves, it could be ditched.

A double episode at 10.10pm tonight on BBC2 finds Sylar having an identity crisis in Nathan's body, Claire meeting an old pal with a secret, and the arrival of a sinister travelling carnival troupe.

And the leader of the freak show is Robert Knepper - best known to you all as Theodore T-Bag Bagwell from Prison Break.

Be warned that T-Bag's players will play a big role in Sylar's future ...

Heroes is back!

Fans of the science fiction drama can finally breathe a sigh of relief as it returns on Saturday night for a brand new fourth season.

Better still, we're being treated to a double bill to ease us back into the proceedings after the long wait for new episodes.

It's safe to say that after a tepid response at the beginning of last series, there must have been a few loyal followers who worried it wouldn't be back at all.

So, did the earth move for you?

David Tennant's Dr Who swansong was so heavily hyped, it was never going to live up to expectation.

But did any of us expect it to be such a mixed bag?

The whole End Of Time story about the Master transforming the human race into the 'Master Race' in his own image was twaddle.

And the head-shaking special effects were just silly.

Having endured the depressing first half (saved only by the poignant cuppa chat between Tennant and Cribbins) I sat down to second helping on New Year's Day.

And it went from bad to worse.

Read on and weep ...

I have been excited about watching Avatar for weeks.

Ever since fellow Anorak City scribe Paul Cole called it 'as good as Star Wars'.

I'm not sure about that statement but what I witnessed yesterday on the giant IMAX screen in 3D was every bit as groundbreaking.

For three hours I sat there completely mesmerised, I have never witnessed visuals and special effects like that before in my life.
