When I first heard that they were going to remake the 80s' classic with Will Smith's son in the starring role something inside me died.

Now I've see the trailer and... well.. decide for yourself.

Just to give you some perspective, here's a slice of the original.

Moons inhabited by furry Ewoks or blue-skinned Pandorians could be discovered within the next few years.

Habitable alien moons like the one depicted in the blockbuster movie Avatar may become science sooner than you might think, according to a leading astronomer.

It's not the original, but Stewie from Family Guy shows Shatner just how it's done.

Some disturbing reports about Spider-Man 4 has it that the webslinger's lamest foe - the Vulture - will be the main baldie, I mean baddie.

John Malkovich has reportedly been approached to don the wings, while Anne Hathaway is going to play a brand-new nemesis - the Vulturess.

I'm sorry, after the monumentally disappointing Spider-Man 3 this new film sounds like it might even be worse!

It's looking like we'll be given a very special Christmas present this year.

Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau has hinted on his Twitter account that we could see the first teaser trailer for the much-anticipated superhero sequel in a matter of weeks.

Rumour is the trailer will be attached to the upcoming Sherlock Holmes film, which also stars Robert Downey Jr and is due for a Boxing Day release.

In the meantime, another poster has been released. The international one-sheet shows a very stern-looking Tony Stark.

Buck Rogers is back

By Daniel Smith on Dec 3, 09 07:16 AM

Everyone's favourite man-out-of-his-time - Buck Rogers - is making a comeback.

Starting in late 2010, there's going to be 20 webisodes released based around the classic sci-fi character and from the teaser trailer, it looks pretty good.

Little is known about the project, but I've got a feeling neither Wilma or Twiki will be making an appearance. Shame.

Hype surrounding Smallville's two-hour Justice Society TV movie is starting to ramp up.

The Ausiello Files have got their hands on two new images from the special.

First off we have our first look at Doctor Fate and Stargirl, while it appears Green Arrow and Hawkman don't get along...
