Chloe Moretz: How I tricked Martin Scorcese

CHLOE MORETZ says it was a "dream" to work with MARTIN SCORSESE - who she tricked into thinking she was British - in new film Hugo.

The 14-year-old US actress was selected by the acclaimed director to appear in the film after she hoodwinked him during her New York audition.

She said: "I completely fooled him into thinking I was a British actress and then at the end of the audition I went back into my American accent.

"He said 'hold on are you American? I was like 'I am American,' so I tricked Martin Scorsese."
