Jim Carrey on Mr Popper's Penguins

By Steve Wollaston on Aug 7, 11 01:16 PM

HE spent all day freezing or boiling, then went home smelling of fish.

Jim Carrey clearly suffered for his art while making Mr Popper's Penguins.

"It was always spontaneous, you never knew what was going to happen," he says of working with his feathered friends.

"All they want is fish, so I carried fish around with me - in my pockets, shoes, everywhere.

"It was freezing on set all the time, just 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I was dying but the penguins were very happy. Then we'd go outside and do a scene on the roof where it was 80 degrees and I had to be in a Parka and five layers of clothing."

Jim has been on an emotional rollercoaster in recent years. The twice-divorced actor has battled depression, split from long-term girlfriend Jenny McCarthy and became a grandfather when his daughter gave birth to a son.

So he can also identify with the film's themes about the importance of family and getting your priorities right.

"I've gone through periods where I was selfish or wasn't necessarily there as much as I should have been," says the 49-year-old.

"We can all get caught up in our little quest for greatness and things that fascinate us. And there's something so much more fascinating sitting right there."

That is well known that cash can make us disembarrass. But what to do when someone does not have cash? The one way is to get the personal loans and just auto loan.
