Seth MacFarlane set to tackle Star Trek

By Steve Wollaston on Jan 8, 11 11:42 PM

IF you've loved the Family Guy spoofs of the Star Wars trilogy, then we have good news for you.

Creator Seth MacFarlane is set to take the mickey-takes into a whole new universe.

He plans to boldly go where the series has not been before, and take on the institution that is ... Star Trek.

Seth says that while spoofing classic sci-fi movies is hard, he and his team have their eyes on the Star Trek films, although he warns we might not see them for a while.

The Family Guy Star Wars send-ups are Blue Harvest (A New Hope), Something Something Something Darkside (The Empire Strikes Back) and It's A Trap (Return Of The Jedi).
