Is Machete the new Rambo?
Machete could be the next Rambo, according to the film's co-director Ethan Maniquis.
"I think so," the filmmaker revealed at a special screening of the Robert Rodriguez movie in Los Angeles.
"I could see him kicking a** for many years to come!" Ethan said of Machete, played by tough guy character actor Danny Trejo.
"I always think that he's a Mexican Dirty Harry," he explained.
The film is based on a fake trailer Rodriguez directed for his 2007 movie Grindhouse.
