Gunsmoke : 55th anniversary shootout in Dodge City
This town ain't big enough for the both of us!
Fans of classic TV western Gunsmoke are heading out west - to Dodge City.
That's where they'll be celebrating the rootin' tootin' 55th anniversary of the show.
On September 3 and 4, wild west wannabes will gather in the Kansas town where Matt Dillon enforced the law, and Miss Kitty ran her saloon.
They'll raise a shot of bourbon to Doc, Chester, Festus, Newly, Quint, and all the other characters.
It's organised by he Dodge City Trail of Fame and is the official celebration of the series.
