Following FlashForward with eager anticipation every week?
Trying to unravel the mystery?
Don't bother.
Bosses at ABC have just pulled the plug on the show after just one series.
The show has suffered dwindling ratings for a while now, caused by hit and miss writing and a messy plot.
Hopes had been raised of a second season when it turned out that international sales for the programme were doing well.
But Entertainment Weekly has revealed the axe has swung on the show.
A pity: the premise to the show was interesting, but it never really got to go anywhere in the end.
The news comes just 24 hours after Heroes suffered the same fate. Other shows cancelled by ABC include Scrubs and Better Off Ted.

Apart from the money I could not for the life of me fathom out what to do with the stuff that had now become a second pile next to the first; a mountain range in the making. I had no place to put the bags and no idea as to what I should do with the contents. Should I try to sort them out and find alternative and sensible homes for them?
