Lost: Was the Black Smoke involved in Oceanic 815 crash?

I saw this picture when browsing the net....

Is it the Black Smoke or just black smoke?

Could Old Smokey have had a direct effect on the plane?

Now that is interesting! I'll be watching the final season now waiting to see if the crash gets explained by the smoke monsters!

Actually, after re-watching the plane crash, I'm convinced that's engine smoke, not a smoke monster. Check it out in this clip:
