Lost Season 6 episodes 1&2: So many questions!
Off the top of my head. A few questions...
![]()
1 I don't get it.
2 Dual timelines
3 Who is the John Lennon wirey beard freak?
4 Is it really as simple as God V Satan?
5 I don't like the tree-pruning oriental grumpy bloke
6 Sayid, Dead? Nah - it was never going to happen.
7 The underwater bit at the start. CGI tastic. Was like an educational video using 80's technology.
8 Kate has actually got more attractive
9 Jack has got more annoying
10 Hurley got fatter
11 Why are the chosen few on the list - 'on the list'?
12 I feel cheated now I know what/who Smokey is
13 How many sets of others do we have now. 4 I think.
14 Whilst the show is still compelling and the characters brilliant - something was missing for me. Perhaps one shock too far. Now I'm not easily shocked by anything it throws at me
15 I don't see where the 'off the island' timeline is going. That would have been an obvious idea to end the show. It effectively felt like the last ever episode at the start of the series
16 Will my female friends on twitter and facebook continue to make 'Sawyer - phwoooar' comments next week?
17 Where did Desmond go to
18 Was the Temple pool the same water as that used in Willy Wonka's factory?
19 I'm giving the series opener a 7/10. How about you?

I think the whole idea is that you're going to see, "Sliding Doors" style what would have happened IF the reset had worked, and if it hadn't.
The John Lennon looking guy is amazingly called Lennon; the Japanese guy is called Dogen and they're from the same mob of others as the rest.
At the end of series 5, you saw Jacob talk to people at various points of their lives - they're the ones on the list.
And it's not good v evil, apparently. There is no "good" side and no "evil" side - just two different sides
You can't tell me Evil Locke isn't evil?
So they are breakaway others?
Oh yeah - how did Kate end up lying on a tree branch? The laws of physics wouldn't have allowed that. But she is very cute so we will let her get away with it.
The Sliding Doors thing I agree with. Do we really want to see them in their normal lives though? The mystique of the Island is the whole draw of the show.
