There seems to be no end to the success of James Cameron's epic sci-fi masterpiece Avatar.
Today we spoke to Caroline Durbin who is PR Manager for Birmingham's IMAX Cinema. She told us that the success of the film had been quite amazing:
"We are absolutely thrilled at the success of AVATAR here at IMAX Cinema, Birmingham.
"To date over 71,000 people have travelled from all over the region to come and experience the sci-fi adventure here on the largest screen in the Midlands.
"We've welcomed all sorts of new visitors since the film opened back in December.
"Avatar director James Cameron utilised revolutionary 3D technology to create a window into the world of Pandora, and the IMAX Cinema is the perfect venue to experience the action of this ground-breaking film.
"It's been a great start to the year, and with Alice in Wonderland 3D, How to Train your Dragon 3D, Toy Story 3D and the new Harry Potter all on the way, 2010 will be another busy year for IMAX Cinema, Birmingham."
