Twilight New Moon star Robert Pattinson to be the new Spiderman
Well, it's only a rumour at this stage... he is rumoured to be in the frame to play superhero Spider-Man.
It's been announced that TOBEY MAGUIRE and director SAM RAIMI will not be returning to the Spider-Man franchise next year..
Instead, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced that a new Spider-Man film that focuses on Peter Parker in high school would debut in the summer of 2012, with a new cast and filmmaking team.
Rumours are rife that Twilight hunk R-Patz might play Spidey, but film bosses haven't confirmed the reports.
