Twilight: New Moon's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart discuss their sex-symbol status

In Twilight: New Moon, Taylor Lautner, who plays Edward's love rival Jacob, the new best friend and protector of Kirsten Stewart's character Bella Swan, could help to deflect some of the admiration away from Robert Pattinson.
Because Jacob can morph into a giant werewolf, Taylor had to pile on 30lbs of muscle. It was clearly something director Chris Weitz was keen to show off as Taylor is topless for many scenes - though Robert also whips off his shirt when Edward tries to reveal to the world that he is a vampire (they sparkle in sunlight).
"There is high nipple count in this movie," agrees Robert. "I hadn't worked out at all and when I saw Taylor I felt incredibly inadequate with my prepubescent girl's body and A cups."
The stars' families have also had to adjust to their stratospheric rise to fame, which could continue for a further two movies - after Eclipse the Twilight Saga concludes with Breaking Dawn.
"My family is embarrassingly proud of me," says Kristen. "My brothers get a little over-protective so I have made rules now - 'You can't go outside and scream at people if they have cameras'."
Robert claims that his family are bemused by his status as movie star and heart throb.
"I don't think they've realised what has been going on in America. I don't think they really know what I am doing.
"It is a very confusing thing to see, even something like someone coming up to you on set and asking if you want a coffee. They think 'Why are you asking him? He should be getting his own coffee'."
The Twilight Saga: New Moon is in cinemas now.
