Philip K Dick's Letter to Blade Runner Crew

It's always interesting to discover what an author thinks of a movie adaptation of his work (in this case 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'), but author Philip K Dick goes further than providing a simple critique of the Ridley Scott directed movie, he actually takes the opportunity to make a statement on the (then) current state of the Sci-Fi genre as a whole, and what Blade Runner has done to point the way out of a seemingly stale situation, at the same time remaining humble with regards his own role in one of the greatest movies of all time. Read the letter >>HERE<<

PKD's words certainly seems to have become relevant again this year with the success of less mainstream, more thoughtful Sci-Fi movies.
