Is FlashForward the new Heroes?

Heroes managed one season of goodness before it all went pear-shaped at the very end of its debut run, and never recovered.

And now it's looking like the hype surrounding FlashForward has all but evaporated within just a few episodes.

Ratings in the States have slumped and, according to AICN, showrunner Marc Guggenheim has been handed his notice by the bosses at US network ABC.

While we are guaranteed to get to the fabled date of April 23, chances are FlashForward will be over in, errr, a flash!
