Flash Forward has left this Lost fan feeling cheated

I am obsessed with Lost.

It's the best TV I have ever seen, I think. Compelling, exciting, mysterious, sad, beautiful, it has it all.

My obsession with Lost made me feel that I didn't have room for another long-runner in my life.

I missed Prison Break, didn't bother with Galactica, skirted around Fringe and hated Heroes.

I decided to change my viewing habits with the introduction of Flash Forward on our screens.

It promised so much. The concept is brilliant.

The execution after four episodes I have to say just isn't.

The characters are wishy washy. They don't grab you or really make you want to like them.

There are no strong 'Jack', 'Kate', 'Hurley' characters.

There are no stand-out sex symbols either (not that this is vital of course).

The plot is good, but really there is a lot of waffle, the pace of the show seems all wrong and it seems to be happy to be another run of the mill US TV show albeit with a strong hook.

Somewhere in here is the best show in the world waiting to jump out but at the moment it is flatter than most of the contestants on the X-Factor.

There have been some brilliant moments so far in the show and I hope it does get better.

The last few episodes I have felt that rather than being called Flash Forward it should be renamed Fast Forward. That is what i feel like doing because invariably the only interesting event happens at the end, the rest is dull.

This is not what I signed up for!

I blogged on how disappointing this was a while back and am sad to hear it hasn't improved.

I've currently got two episodes waiting to watch on Sky Plus, but I'm not sure if it is worth the time now.

You are spot on Steve - great idea, but poor execution.
