FlashForward - will the sci-fi show be the new Lost?
IT is the big science fiction show tipped to replace Lost.
And it's coming to the UK after channel Five beat off all comers to snatch the series.
ABC's spooky sci-fi drama FlashForward is the best of the new wave of Stateside TV shows.
Starring Shakespeare In Love thespian Joseph Fiennes and This Life star Jack Davenport, it's based on a novel by Robert J Sawyer.
The drama follows the aftermath of a mysterious global event sparked by the turning on of the Large Hadron Collider.

It causes everyone on earth simultaneously to black out for two minutes and 17 seconds, during which they see a glimpse of their lives in the future.
When it is over, many are dead in accidents involving cars and planes, and cities resemble disaster areas.
Cue a series of suicides, murder mysteries, and questions about science and destiny worthy of Lost and Fringe.
Fiennes plays a sceptical FBI agent and Davenport a physicist trying to unravel the mystery.
Watch, too, for actress Sonya Walger, who plays Desmond's squeeze Penelope Widmore in Lost.
Five is believed to have beaten off competition from Sky 1, which was looking for a successor to Lost when it ends next year.
The 13-episode series, produced at Disney's ABC Studios, is due to launch in the US on September 24, with the UK days later.
